Located in the historical surroundings of Träskända Manor, The Aurora Center will open for cultural and hobby use in February 2022. Monoma Finland will convert the empty property to studios, course / event facilities and premises for local small businesses.

The property has a vacant area of 3.400m2, consisting of former care home facilities and related ancillary spaces. The premises will be transformed to suit the new use with only minor changes and the aim is to activate the property with respect to its historical past serving the community.

"The old bakery will transform into a organic cosmetics manufacturing facility, the old therapy room will be used for yoga lessons, and the old workshop for ceramics and painting courses by local artists. Only imagination is the limit for sustainable re-use of the property," says Benjamin Sundberg, Country Manager at Monoma Finland.

Café Aiju, a summer café that has gained popularity in the community continue as a tenant, and the first artist organization tenant, Espoo Art, will also have their artists moving in already from January 2022.
